The Linear Gauge is a chart with a fixed length, and one or two indicators pointing to the values passed by a function.
The Linear gauge has 2 properties: setValue
and setSubValue
.
setValue
is the default property and sets a value for the main indicator, while setSubValue
adds a secondary indicator.
You can change the orientation, width and colors of the Linear gauge in the Frame Settings.
The Background Color
changes the color of the whole frame. Additionally, you can add any number of color sections by setting a start value and an end value.
The Indicator tab includes all the settings to edit the appearence of the primary and subvalue indicators, such as the size, color, position and marker type.
In the Scale tab you can set the start and end value for the gauge and edit or remove the number labels.
You can also add, remove or edit the size and spacing of major and minor ticks.
If you set the start and end scale values, major ticks will automatically be calculated and displayed. Minor ticks will need to be turned on, but they will also be automatically calculated.
For both types of ticks, you can customize the interval in units and the length in pixels.
